Target Animal: Cattle, calf, sheep.
Mode of Action: With loss of water and electrolyte due to diarrhea or other diseases, livestock might face severe weight loss or dehydration. In severe cases of diarrhea, there will be a presence of Metabolic Acidosis along with reduction of Sodium and Potassium in serum. Formulated Sodium and Potassium ions will make up for the lost ones. Also, the available citrate in product will be converted to bicarbonate in liver and cures acidosis. Being one of the primary sources of energy, glucose can also be beneficiary in increasing Potassium entry from external cellular walls into the cells. Furthermore, with the absorption of glucose in small intestine, water will be absorbed as well.
Indication: This product compensates for the loss of water and minerals due to diarrhea or other diseases.
Dosage and Administration: Consumption of this medicine can only be via drinking water. Dissolve 25 g of powder in 1 L of drinking water. For a 50 kg calf, use this solution 3 times a day, each time 1.5 L for 2-3 days.
Contraindication: Should not be consumed in cases of anterior gastrointestinal obstruction.
