Target Animal: Dogs, cats and horses Indication: helps improve skin condition in cases of bacterial and fungal infections. It is effective in treating Hot Spots, Malassezia, Ringworm, Pyoderma, Seborrhea oleosa, fungal infections caused by Blastomyces, Coccidioides, Cryptococcus, Histoplasma, Microsporum, Trichophyton and almost all other skin problems.
Mode of action: Hydrocortisone: As a glucocorticoid, it exerts its effect by altering the function of dermal and epidermal cells, inhibiting fibroblast proliferation, reducing the sensitivity of lymphocytes, and the cellular response to inflammatory mediators. By binding to glucocorticoid receptors, hydrocortisone leads to cascade effects such as inhibition of phospholipase A2 and other inflammatory factors.
Ketoconazole: It is an imidazole antifungal that is effective in treating and preventing a wide range of fungal infections. By inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, it increases the permeability and destruction of the fungal membrane, thereby inhibiting its growth.
Boric acid and Acetic acid: They have a synergistic effect in eliminating bacterial infections and, by balancing the pH of the skin’s surface, make the environment unfavorable for the overgrowth of fungi and yeasts. Other effects include cleansing the skin, reducing excess moisture and oil, and eliminating odor in damaged areas of the skin. – It should be noted that the formulation of this product also uses aloe vera extract, which improves itching and creates proper moisture for the skin in damaged areas.
Dosage and Administration: shake well before use. For use on dry skin, spray directly to skin and haircoat and allow to dry. For wet application or after shampooing remove excess moisture and spray directly to skin and haircoat. Use only as prescribed by a veterinarian. Cautions: for topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If it causes skin inflammation or increases, stop use and consult your veterinarian. Wash hand after use. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
